This is something I did of my adorable cousin Jackson. This is just a couple days after his birthday.

Photography

In one of my classes we are talking about photo journalism. I really like this topic it brings back memories of being in all of my photography classes. I miss them so much right now. For one of my cases I needed to pull out my old history of photography book. Just looking through that book brings back all the feelings and ALL the amazing and some not so pleasant pictures that were taken through the ages.

In the case that I am doing for my class, the point that I got out of it is that what matters in a picture is the story you can tell. Don't stage a picture because it lessens your credibility. Let the pictures show the facts, don't manipulate it, show what truly matters.

It was a lot of fun taking pictures of Ryan and Kim. Things didn't work out as we planned with the pictures, but it was a blast. I did a lot of black and whites for them, but I love black and whites photography.

My name is Annalee. I was a photography major a while back, but I have since changed. I loved taking pictures, but times I have changed. Things happened in my life and I was not as into it. But recently I was looking at some pictures and I decided that I wanted to start just taking pictures for fun and for no one else. I am hoping that starting a blog will help me with that goal.

I am going to start out by putting up some old pictures that I took that I really liked.
